COMFORTABLE ON A TIGHTROPE IS SEVEN YEARS OLD
‘Seven years ago, to the day, the first Comfortable On A Tightrope happening took place with Simon Joyner, Enablers, Former Bullies and Land Ahoy!  Since then there have been 90-something more including the debut Manchester performances of  Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffitti, Mika MIko, Thee Oh Sees, Sic Alps, John Maus, Veronica Falls, Nite Jewel, Cass Mccombs, Grass Widow, Silk Flowers, Brilliant Colors, Finally Punk, Lexie Mountain Boys, Nisennenmondai, Gun Outfit, Women & Children, Animals & Men, La La Vasquez, Box Elders, Pheromoans, The Royal We, Thanksgiving, Chain & The Gang, Girls Names and etc.’
Friday fully brings circles full - Former Bullies are at it again! I know we always say this, but this one is an unmissa!
BE WARNED we are warming up the bar staff and playing at EIGHT O’CLOCK on the dot - so to avoid disappointment, get there early, post work or otherwise. We’re pumped up for this one and we’ll be taking no prisoners!
There’s a million other great bands playing too and we might even spin some later on - so, to summarise, we’re on at eight o’clock, it’s going to be unmissable and you must be there.

FEEL RIGHT - ”KIDS GONE WILD’

I made a video for my band Feel Right, it’s slightly Halloween themed and spooky, in that it features me and Joe creeping around in the dark, providing our own uplighting.

Hope you like it. The song is featured on our forthcoming 12’ LP, ‘Northwest’, which will be released on Ice Capades at some point in November http://iiicecapades.tumblr.com/

FLOAT RIVERER - ‘PIO PIO’

I made a video for the band Float Riverer, it’s for their song ‘Pio Pio’, it’s a really great song! The song comes from their S/T album available from http://goldenlabrecords.wordpress.com/releases/

Some amazing freak out dance moves here so watch your back!

GOLDEN GRRRLS - ‘NEW POP’

I made a video for Glasgow / London’s Golden Grrrrls - it’s a total thriller of a hit! It’s going to released in mid-November on the fabulous Night School Records - available for pre-order here http://www.night-school.org.uk - backed with the equally thrilling ‘Red Sea’ - it’s a must for anyone with ears!

Again, crazysexycool overlaid illustration credits must go to the crazysexycool Lucy Jones - http://lucy-jones.tumblr.com/ - DIG IT!

DAILY LIFE - ‘ALABASTER’

I made a video for the incredibly photogenic band that is Manchester’s Daily Life. It’s one of those catchy ones so watch out because once it pops you in the nose it won’t stop, it’ll keep coming! Hope you enjoy it - the celebratory illustrations come from the Lucy Jones - http://lucy-jones.tumblr.com - Heroes one and all!

HOW TO BEAT FORMER BULLIES VOL.6
Brown skinned Indian on the bank: Neil Young is your Dad. Dick Hed!
So far this relationship has been flirtatious at best, now, now, it’s gettin’ seri-arse.
This is the latest, the greatest, oh yeah, you’ve heard it before, you’ve heard it before, fuck it! Obviously if there’s a mix involving the ‘Inca’ alone it’s going to top the totem, and you’re going to end up crying in your rag rug.
Career spanning, spirit enhancing, woman romancing,
Neil Young Ladies & Gentleman, Neil Young!
